However, when testing the team was waiting for a nontrivial problem: the cube itself, due to the mechanical design, did not have enough time to rearrange itself in dexterous robotic hands. Because of this, the puzzle jammed during the first test. A small modification solved the problem.

This is not the first time robots have been tasked with assembling a Rubik’s cube. For example, fifteen years ago they did it in 67 seconds, and in 2016 the time was already less than a second.
