Guy Ritchie will direct a series about a young Sherlock Holmes for Amazon

Approved actor for the role of the famous detective in the series “Young Sherlock”
Amazon has ordered the production of the series “Young Sherlock” (“Young Sherlock” – translation “Movie News”), based on the series of books by British writer Andy Lane “Young Sherlock Holmes”. The series, which will be shot by Guy Ritchie for Prime Video streaming, already has an executive in the lead role – Hiro Fiennes-Tiffin, who participated in the filming of the director’s historical action movie “Ministry of Ungentlemanly Affairs”. Guy Ritchie will share the duties of executive producer of the eight-episode TV project with scriptwriter Matthew Parkhill, who will act as showrunner.
